Overview

The Gifted and Talented Education program from United Arab Emirates University typically completed in four full-time semesters or five part-time semesters, will enable educators to serve as the Gifted Education specialists in their respective schools or in their communities, as they advocate to meet the learning and social and emotional needs of the multicultural and diverse gifted and talented students in their schools and communities.

Program Objectives

Acquire advanced and critical knowledge of educational theory, research, and skills related to the area of gifted and talented education.
Promote the use of problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities to develop, implement, and evaluate challenging collaborative teaching and learning activities. suitable for gifted and talented learners.
Ensure the success of gifted and talented students by advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a school culture and instruction program conducive to a differentiated education of gifted and talented learners.
Develop the ability to effectively establish theory-practice nexus by applying evidence-based approaches to the education of gifted and talented students.
Become culturally responsive and reflective practitioners within the area of gifted and talented education to enhance their students’ social and emotional learning skills.

Copy of official certificates & transcripts (Mark sheet) from all colleges or universities attended (Master and Bachelor). For the students whose have Degrees from outside UAE, kindly note they should have equivalency letter from the ministry of education in UAE.
An official copy of the applicant s score on the IELTS or TOEFL exam from one of the university s accredited centers.
A detailed curriculum vitae (CV).
Two letters of recommendation from professionals familiar with the student s academic work.
