The MS in Public Health Nutrition program at American University of Beirut adopts a multi-disciplinary approach as it aspires to train and equip highly qualified individuals to respond to national and regional needs in the field of public health nutrition by providing them with strong skills in nutrition, policy and program planning, health promotion, monitoring, evaluation, and research.The program provides theoretical and applied graduate course workcoursework and research opportunities in public health nutrition, including needs assessments, program planning, policy development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition interventions.

The MS in Public Health Nutrition aims to:

Provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills to address and solve nutrition and lifestyle relatedlifestyle-related problems of populations living in the MENA region.
Expose students to public health, health policy, and health promotion theories.

Enable students to apply public health nutrition principles and theories.
