Overview
The European Public Health programme from University of Bordeaux is made for you:
- a 2-year multidisciplinary Master course in public health with 7 different specialisations on offer,
- delivered by a consortium of 8 European Universities, leading to an internationally recognized double Master’s degree,
- an intercultural environment of study, in up to 3 languages: English, Spanish or French.
- Experience living in several European countries while studying in a unique intercultural environment.
Key Facts
Eight renowned European universities, all recognized as centres of excellence in public health higher education, are collaborating to deliver the Europubhealth+ Master programme.
Graduates from Europubhealth+ receive a Double Master’s Degree, one from each University of the chosen pathway.
Both official national degrees are completed by a Europubhealth+ Certificate of Achievement and a joint diploma supplement, detailing the chosen pathway, marks and grading scales.
Programme Structure
- Depending on your language skills, you may follow your first academic year in English at the University of Sheffield (UK), at the University College Dublin (Ireland), in Spanish at the EASP-University of Granada (Spain) or in French at the University of Liege (Belgium) to acquire core competencies in public health.
- Your second academic year must be followed in a different country in line with your specialisation preferences and language skills. It may be either at Maastricht University in The Netherlands (in English), the Jagiellonian University in Poland (in English), the EHESP School of Public Health in Rennes (in English or in French), the University of Bordeaux ISPED (in English) or at the EASP-University of Granada in Spain (in Spanish).
- At the end of each academic year, all Europubhealth+ students participate in a joint Integration Module at the EHESP School of Public Health in Rennes, France (in English) for three weeks.

For visa reasons, we strongly recommend applicants who will need a visa to study in their first year country to apply before the 8 January deadline.
NB: European applicants going to the University of Sheffield will need a visa.

General requirements
- Holding at least a university Bachelor degree (180 ECTS) or certified equivalent. A copy of your last degree is required at application stage.
- Being proficient in the languages suitable for the chosen study pathway: English; English+Spanish; English+French; or Spanish+English+French. Mandatory copies of language proficiency tests meeting the minimum admission requirements – as described below – must be provided when applying.
