Overview
This programme is provisionally certified by the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) and will equip you with a powerful skillset highly prized by employers throughout the world-wide digital economy, now and for the foreseeable future.
The cyber domain is vast. It incorporates all digital devices and all digital communications, across all time frames. Your car, your archived health data, your social media interactions, your financial information, even your electricity supply are all affected.
It’s a multifaceted domain that goes beyond just technical computing. Organisational processes, individual human behaviours, wider societal norms, and the physical environment all matter. Ultimately, the goal of cyber resilience is to ensure that critical services which people rely on continue to operate even when attacked.
This MSc Cyber Resilience offered by Loughborough University has been designed to consider resilience from a range of perspectives: data, code, the individual, the organisation, and the environment. Taught by leading experts and informed by the strong links with the UK and international cyber industry, the programme augments traditional cyber security with resilience thinking, with a rich depth and breadth to the modules which will build your expertise in aspects of the cyber domain.
