Drawing primarily from the disciplines of Economics, International Relations, and Political Science, our International Political Economy (Interdisciplinary) (Thesis) graduate degree delivered at Kadir Has University offers an interdisciplinary research agenda, providing the theoretical and methodological foundation necessary for analytical and scientific examination of the significant developments mentioned above, some of which directly impact our daily lives and well-being. Our program offers a comprehensive IEP framework to scientifically explore and understand the diverse yet interconnected areas of the complex dynamics between market and state, economy and politics, and wealth and power. Some of the prominent topics and areas in this context are production, trade, finance, labor, development, gender, environment, security, and global governance.

Qualifications
1- Ability to evaluate scientific, technological, social and cultural developments and to convey them to society with scientific objectivity and ethical responsibility awareness.2- Having acquired high-level skills in using research methods in studies related to the field.3- Investigates the answer to an original research question using existing theories and methods.4- Ability to independently perceive, design, implement and finalize original research processes; ability to manage these processes5- To be able to contribute to the development of existing methods by revealing their shortcomings.6- Ability to follow technological innovations and methods and awareness of lifelong learning to keep up with changing conditions7- Ability to contribute to scientific literature at the international level by publishing the outputs of academic studies in respected academic environments.8- The ability to develop new ideas and methods related to the field by using higher-level mental processes such as creative and critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.9- Ability to defend original opinions in discussions on issues in the field on national and international platforms and to systematically convey one's knowledge in written, oral and visual form.Programme Structure
