• An ability to question and interpret ideas considering diverse points of view; to gather and use data, to develop advanced concepts related to people, places and the environment, and make individual decisions.

• A competence to assess varied laws and bylaws for the benefit of public health, safety and welfare; an ability use them to develop and propose more advanced principles and standards.

• A competence to conduct academic research responsibly and to take into consideration the urban and architectural needs of the society.

• An ability to organize multi-disciplinary design studies and to gather teams of different design actors to develop new research projects.

• A skill to use appropriate graphical methods including freehand and digital drawing techniques, (ECDL advanced) in order to develop ideas in addition to communicate the process of design.

• An ability to share the studies developed in the area of expertise with the national and international audiences.

• A competency in utilizing theory, methods on defining human-physical environment interaction, as well as skills in developing new forms of knowledge and approaches.

Graduate Profile

Graduates of the Architectural Design (Thesis) programme from MEF University will work on projects with a social component, producing solutions to contemporary issues through alternative architectural practices. 

Additionally, they develop architectural solutions using innovative methods such as digital technologies and alternative building materials. By working in various architecture firms, design studios, consulting companies, and academic institutions in both the public and private sectors, they will bring a new perspective to the field of architecture.
