Overview

This Language Science with a Specialisation in Typology and Linguistic Diversity specialisation at Stockholm University provides a comprehensive two-year course of study of core areas in Linguistics: linguistic theory and methodology, scientific methods and research ethics, linguistic typology (phonetic, grammatical, lexical), statistical analysis in linguistics and corpus linguistics.

Degree of 180 ECTS credits or equivalent in Linguistics, of which at least 90 ECTS credits in General Linguistics, including an individual degree project of 15 ECTS credits or equivalent in General Linguistics.

The individual degree project of 15 ECTS credits can include separate seminar courses. Swedish Upper Secondary School Course English 6/English B or equivalent.
