Overview

The Software Engineering  school  actively  promotes  international  education,  strives  to build  a  teaching  and  scientific  research  system  in  accordance  with  the  first-class international  standards,  and  is  committed  to  cultivating excellent  talents,  advanced technology and contributing outstanding ideas for the Internet era. In  terms  of  subject  construction  and  layout,  Software  School  emphasizes  that  it  is characterized  by  the  information  needs  of  the  Internet  and  the  Internet  of things  era, and strives to build  a complete vertical research  system from the bottom  software of the  system  to  the  application  layer  and  even  the  business  application.

Faculty members  have  made  great  achievements  in  system  software,  software  engineering, interactive  media,  information  system,  cryptography  and  information  security,  and have considerable domestic and overseas academic influence. The  Fudan  MSc  in  Software  Engineering  program  offers  systematic  training  for students  who  want  to  start  a  career of  engineers  and  managers  in  IT  and  Internet industry.  The  program  provides  a  series  of  specialized  courses  such  as  software engineering,  distributed  computation,  big  data  analysis  and  application,  advanced networks etc. All the courses are taught in English by faculties from Fudan.

Double Degree Program of Fudan University and other Universities

To provide an  international  dimension  to  education, Fudan  University  and other Universities such as University of Exeter, Australian National University(ANU) and University of Adelaide wish to provide students with a double master degree program or  exchange  student  program  with  no  degree allowing  for  credit  transfers  between Fudan and other universities.
