The master's specialisation Research in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences is hosted by the research groups of the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research (LACDR). You can chose from a wide variety of research themes ranging from Analytical BioSciences, Biopharmaceutics, Drug Delivery Technology, Medicinal Chemistry to Pharmacology, and Toxicology.

General requirements

A BSc degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences (Bio-Farmaceutische Wetenschappen) from any research university in the Netherlands.

OR

A bachelor’s degree in a Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences-related programme from a research university in the Netherlands, under the condition that you have accumulated at least 150 EC (or the equivalence thereof)

For admission to most master’s programmes you must be proficient in English. The types of English test accepted are listed below.
