Overview

Financial Technology and Systems is offered by City St George's, University of London. In addition the programme allows you to work closely with some of the fintech organisations such as the Lloyds Banking Group, Allica Bank, Thirdfort, EarthID, MoneyHop and many others to co-create an innovative fintech product that will be disruptive in the marketplace.

Key Facts

There is an optional experience to work with one of the fintech players in the UK or elsewhere. Interested students will share their CV with the Corporate Relations and Employability Unit (CREU) who will liaise with the prospective fintech partner to identify the suitable candidate based on the skills / talent requirements of the organisation. This course will prepare you with knowledge and expertise in the following areas:

Will provide you with a good understanding of the basic design principles of the fintech systems
Help you to design systems that are ethical and comply with regulatory requirements
Will aid you with the skills needed to develop a product from the ideation stage to prototype
Will give you exposure to real-world practical problems in the fintech industry
Will give you sound knowledge in the cyber security and risk assessment principles that are needed for the fintech industry
Will provide you with the knowledge and understanding and banking and finance relevant to open banking.
