Overview
We aim to improve the quality of financial professionals in Africa by recruiting top graduates to pursue graduate degrees in Taiwan. The program strategy includes the following key points:
Partnership and Collaboration
CTBC Business School, the University of Cape Town, and the University of the Western Cape are collaborating to create detailed training plans and establish student selection criteria. Regular exchange meetings, seminars, visits, and academic collaborations will enhance cooperation between academic and administrative departments, ensuring the program’s success.
Mentorship System
A professional mentorship system will pair each student with a mentor to support their academic and career development, fostering excellence and job market readiness. The undergraduate internship program will continue, offering internships and career guidance to international graduate students.
Internship Program
This program integrates business management and financial technology to develop African talent with a global perspective. After the first year students will participate in CTBC’s 6-week summer internship in areas such as corporate finance, international finance, and AI. They will gain hands-on experience, work on projects, and build industry networks. Top performers may earn extended internships or job offers. Benefits include bonuses, health management, and professional training, preparing students for competitive financial careers through CTBC’s extensive resources.
Programme Structure
Courses are lectured in Chinese and English respectively. Applicant can decide whether they would like to study courses delivered in Chinese or English. Chinese Language and Culture Center offers Mandarin courses. All international students are required to register.

Lecturers
The faculty possesses an international background, including instructors from South Korea, the United States, and various European countries. Additionally, several Taiwanese faculty members have overseas experience. The school also invites instructors with extensive practical experience to teach, ensuring a comprehensive curriculum and enriching learning environment.
