Overview
The Communication Disorders and Sciences program offered by University of Macedonia has as its general purpose the development, scientific investigation and dissemination of specialized knowledge and applications in matters related to the field of speech, speech, voice, swallowing and communication. The content of the studies draws topics from the following scientific fields: Speech-Language Pathology, Linguistics, ENT/Audiology, Neurology/Neurosciences, Learning Language Difficulties, Developmental/Cognitive Psychology, Psychopathology and Special Pedagogy.
Αcademic Objectives
- Τhe diagnostic assessment of speech, language, voice, swallowing and communication problems both in children and adults
- Τhe prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing loss, voice, swallowing and communication problems both in children and adults
- Research into typical and atypical communication (speech, voice, non-verbal communication) and swallowing
- Τhe educational support of children with language, speech and communication (verbal and non-verbal) issues at school through special programs

- Application for Participation in the D.D.P.M.S. (print and/or electronic)
- Photocopy of the police ID
- Two recent photographs, showing the candidate's name
- Photocopy of diploma
- Certificate of studies, with a detailed score of undergraduate courses, which also shows the grade of the degree or a current detailed score
- Other A.E.I degrees, if any
- Master's or Doctorate Degrees, if any
- C1/C1 level English language proficiency certificate
- Copies of original publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings and conference papers with a volume of abstracts
- Two letters of recommendation
- Copy of thesis in digital format, if available
- Curriculum vitae according to the template posted on the DDPMS page
