Overview
In the context of the increasing importance of data in the economy, the LL.M. on Data Economy Law from Danube University Krems covers potentials, challenges and (legal and societal) risks of data-driven management and data-oriented business models.
Key features
Knowledge will be provided on the legal, societal, technical and organizational dimension and on how to implement data-driven management and business practices in order to avoid risks and drawbacks.
The first semester is dedicated to fundamentals of the data economy and its impact on law. The second semester is dedicated to the specialization. It provides 3 learning cycles, each with two to three weeks of preparatory remote work followed by one week of interactive on-campus lectures in Krems (Austria). During the preparation phase, students will work on individual or group projects. The results of these projects will be presented during courses held on-campus.
