Overview
The Crimes Against Humanity And Human Rights program offered by Istanbul University aims to draw attention to human rights violations that occur during armed conflicts by conducting scientific studies in the context of crimes against humanity, and to create awareness at national and international levels so that the perpetrators of these violations face the necessary sanctions and violations decrease and disappear.
Mission
To reveal absolute truths with scientific data, to raise awareness about human rights and freedoms, to ensure confrontation with historical and legal truths, to question the dominant structures of the current international system that are inadequate in producing solutions to the common problems of humanity, to propose solutions, to establish academic collaborations with an understanding that embraces the entire world, to support the participation of the societies of the world that are oppressed and persecuted, whose voices are being silenced and who lack economic opportunities in relevant scientific studies and solution production processes.
