Overview

The Artificial Intelligence program at Gebze Technological University consists of a combination of courses given by expert academicians in the field within Gebze Technical University within the framework of the calendar determined by the university and thesis studies carried out by the program students together with their advisors.

Course Procedure

Scientific Preparatory Courses: These courses are organized specifically for the student. Preparatory courses aim to provide students with basic information in order to follow postgraduate courses in general competencies and to complete assigned homework studies, taking into account the curriculum of undergraduate equivalent courses.

Program Courses : Program courses are taught 100% in English at the master's level. The program will include courses that will teach students the theoretical and practical applications of artificial intelligence concepts, as well as reinforcing their mathematics, statistics, optimization and programming backgrounds.

Master's Thesis: In this context, students are expected to prepare a thesis on a specific topic under the supervision of their advisor and present it as a master's thesis and a 6-8 page article format report to be presented as a domestic or international report. Thesis topics are selected from topics that are parallel to the subjects that students have worked on in their workplaces, with the aim of developing university-industry collaboration.

Thesis Presentation: Theses are presented to a jury consisting of a committee of 3 people. The thesis is graded as passing or failing.

General requirements

Graduates from domestic or international engineering, basic sciences (Physics, Mathematics), social sciences or health sciences-based undergraduate programs that are equivalent by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and who meet the following conditions can apply to the program.

ALES Numerical must be at least 70 (or equivalent GRE).
Foreign language proficiency must be documented with one of the following:
YDS score must be at least 55
Must have received a YDS equivalent score from exams whose validity is accepted by YÖK, such as TOEFL IBT/CAE.
Must have received at least 60 from the English exam conducted by GTU
Acceptance of foreign students is possible, and these students will be accepted to the program according to the principles of GTU postgraduate education-training regulations.
