About the programme
Why choose Medialogy?
You should choose Medialogy if you are interested in how technology can solve problems, and how people use technology, and if you want to develop new technology through prototyping, user testing and evaluation of your designs. The Master's gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the latest digital products, technologies and solutions, both in theory and practice. We work across different technologies such as virtual and augmented reality, apps, game engines, artificial intelligence, computer vision and audio. You will learn about the science and technologies behind cutting-edge interactive digital systems and participate in developing computer games, working with computer-generated 3D graphics or developing interactive experiences.
Educational content
The Master’s in Medialogy focuses on problem-based project work where you work in groups with fellow students on real-world projects. You will have many opportunities to delve deeper into a specific topic, as well as the chance to use some of the more advanced equipment in our laboratories and workshops. This will let you test and develop the latest techniques within virtual reality, interactive 3D elements and user evaluation. You will learn to assess and then select the theories, methods and tools needed to generate new knowledge and technology.
Your skills as a graduate
With a Master's in Medialogy, you will be in demandsought after for jobs that emphasise the ability to design, develop, implement and evaluate interactive technological products and analyse data from user experiments, as you build both analytical and technical skills during the programme. You will understand the science and technologies behind interactive digital systems such as apps, VR, computer games, Internet of Things and the physical interfaces of digital systems, and you are able to design and implement technological solutions and work professionally with creating user experiences.
