Overview
NEOMA Business School’s MSc Strategy, Organisation & Consulting prepares students to analyse complex business challenges, design effective strategies and support organisations through periods of transformation.
The programme takes a multidisciplinary approach to strategic management. Students explore how organisations develop and implement strategy, respond to disruption and build sustainable competitive advantage. They also examine corporate governance, leadership, finance, digitalisation, organisational change and crisis management.
A strong emphasis is placed on the skills required in consulting. Participants learn how to structure problems, conduct research, interpret data and formulate clear, evidence-based recommendations. They also develop the communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities needed to present ideas to clients and senior decision-makers.
Practical assignments allow students to work on strategic challenges inspired by real consulting projects. Company case studies, group presentations and client-style briefs help them experience the different stages of a consulting assignment, from initial analysis to the delivery of actionable recommendations. Recruitment preparation and mock interviews provide further insight into consulting selection processes. Students also complete four to six months of professional experience.
Graduates can pursue careers such as management and organisation consultant, strategy consultant, digital strategy consultant, business analyst, strategy and financial analyst, project manager or international business development manager. They may work for consulting firms or join companies, public institutions and non-governmental organisations undergoing strategic or organisational change.
