Overview
Visual Effects Artists create computer generated imagery (CGI) and effects, including 3D visuals, that would otherwise be too dangerous, expensive or impossible to film. VFX is not going anywhere; almost every image we see has it in some form – for example, if the image was not captured in its totality in one pass with the camera and consists of two or more live action elements, or it has been either wholly or partly generated on the computer.
Compositing (2D VFX) is an essential part of the VFX pipeline in films, TV and commercials. It entails seamless and photorealistic combining of various live action elements, and sometimes CG elements, that may have been filmed in different locations and in different lighting conditions. The Compositor’s job is to combine them in such a way that they seem like they have been filmed in one pass by a camera.
The Visual Effects Production (Compositing or 3D) course at Escape Studios will take you from zero-to-hero, introducing you to both fundamental and advanced techniques of VFX using industry-standard software, as well as introducing you to the latest AI tools and Nuke's integration with Unreal Engine.
