Overview
The Nursing program offered at Queensland University of Technology is designed to make study work for you with a variety of pathways. QUT's School of Nursing has an established reputation as a provider of postgraduate nursing programs that recognise and respond to priorities in health care and prepare professionals for specialist and leadership positions.
In consultation with industry partners, the new Master of Nursing is designed to meet the needs of healthcare organisations for graduates who demonstrate nursing leadership and advanced practice skills. Graduates will have the ability to demonstrate leadership, autonomy, expert judgement, and adaptability to improve healthcare outcomes and service delivery models.
You will opt to major in one study area and will select a coursework or dissertation stream. You may also choose to complete a flexible program with no major and select electives from a wide list that includes the science of pharmacology, health statistics, dementia, and quality management in health.
