Key features
The common basis concerns topics in classical physics of macro-systems applied mainly to the geophysical field. This training allows you to have a non-sectoral perception of the possible applications of theoretical formalism, mathematical methods and experimental techniques to the various fields of atmospheric sciences and related disciplines.
The Atmospheric Science and Technology program from University of L´Aquila includes fundamentals of fluid mechanics, meteorology, electromagnetics and statistical mechanics as well as satellite Earth observation, radar meteorology, atmospheric remote sensing, dynamical meteorology and climatic modelling, environmental meteorology and monitoring.

- Application is open to students of any nationality. Academic Requirements. Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or other similar field with a very strong mathematical background (BS, BSc, SB, etc. or a degree at the same level of an academic Bachelor's Degree, e.g. its equivalent from a college, university, or technical school of high standing, or 180 ECTS credits in the European system). All applicants are required to prove an advanced level of English (CEFR B2/C1 level).
