Key Features
The Digital Business programme is offered full-time or part-time at University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
Full-time (18 months): one block per course (nine blocks in total for the programme, including electives). Each block lasts five to seven days. Within each block, classes run for period of one week. A block week then spans four to six full days in class per block, which may include a Saturday Research project due at the end of February in the second year of study.
Part-time (modular studies delivered in blocks): Core courses are delivered in Saturday class lecture sessions. Elective courses are delivered in modular format as block weeks. Core and elective courses to be completed over the two years. Research project due: end of November in the second year of study.

General requirements
- First degree and post-graduate studies (preferably an honours degree but a first-class Bachelor’s degree with a recognised and accredited post-graduate degree or diploma is also recognised).
- Post-university entrepreneurial or corporate or informal business experience an advantage but not a requirement.
- Mathematics and English – a level of above-average competence equivalent to the requirements for the SA matriculation certificate.
- CV (only required if you have been working for 2 or more years).
- Motivation letter.
- Copies of all academic transcripts and degree certificates.
- SAQA evaluation certificate (for students whose prior degrees were not awarded by a South African university).
- Proof of English language proficiency (for students who have not studied at tertiary level in English).
