The Project Management (Online) course from Centennial College is intended for applicants who previously completed post-secondary education in any discipline and wish to increase their employability by working towards a globally recognized certification in project management. It is also ideal for experienced project managers seeking to bring a new dimension of leadership to their work.

The program courses follow A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, (PMBOK® Guide). Enhancing the use of this guide, the program curriculum includes courses in organizational leadership, communications & employment preparedness, and understanding of the fundamentals of business.

The curriculum includes leading-edge industry case studies and hands-on integration of technological tools such as the Microsoft Project.

The program will prepare you to select and justify projects, initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects.

You will acquire the competencies to develop comprehensive project management plans that would guide project teams through various project lifecycles (predictive, agile, and hybrid).

In addition, you will acquire the competencies to lead diverse project teams and leverage content-specific knowledge from your previous studies and experiences.

We will consider applicants who have a college diploma and a partial degree (75% complete), and who have a minimum of two years' work experience relevant to the program (transcript and resume review required).
