- The research dissertation element of the course will consist of a series of assessed tasks that support the production of a final journal article submission and conference presentation.

General requirements
- An honours degree at 2:1 or higher in a related discipline. This could include degrees in medicine, sport, biomedical sciences, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or physiology.
- In addition, candidates are required to have practical experience relating to their research question.
- Applicants with extensive relevant industry experience with a 2.2 in a relevant field, and applicants with a first or upper second classification in a non-specified field with work experience in a relevant environment will be referred to the Programme leader for consideration.
- You will also be required to attend an interview.
- For students whose first language is not English, there is a requirement to achieve an IELTS tariff of 7 with no individual component below 6.5.
