Overview

The Management programme of The University of Lancashire has been designed to be flexible, putting you and your interests at the centre of the course. You'll undertake two taught modules, at the start of the course, these will help you build a critical understanding of the research process.

The taught elements will be delivered in a block session to provide you with an in-depth learning experience that can fit around other commitments. You will then move to a research study supported by a supervisor who will provide one to one tuition.

You may undertake a supervised research project, either focused on a business or industry setting or solely within an academic context. Here you will apply both the theory and practical implications of research.

You'll be able to develop skills to use on future projects, both academically and within the workplace.

This course is suitable for students who would like to have a flexible approach to study and have a specific interest in business or management. The course would also suit people currently in work and those who would like to become expert in their chosen area of study.
