Engineering Design and Development for a Circular Economy MSc

The programme trains highly skilled professionals in engineering design and development for circular economies, equipping graduates with a deep understanding of both general principles and specific traits of circular systems. By the end of their studies, students can identify circular links between water and waste management, renewable energy use, and are familiar with the legal environment and intellectual property regulations. Graduates acquire the practical and theoretical knowledge needed to conduct and manage complex R&D tasks.

Application without precondition: Applicants holding a BA/BSc in Environmental Engineering (or an equivalent higher education degree) may be admitted without further requirements.

Application with precondition: Applicants with any other higher education degree (BA/BSc, MA/MSc) must have at least 60 credits in relevant fields:

Natural sciences: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology – 20 credits
Business and social sciences: Economics, Legal Studies, Management, Leadership, Project Management, Communication – 10 credits
IT knowledge: IT, Information Systems, Programming – 5 credits
Engineering knowledge: Design, Development, Process Control, Energetics, Mechanics – 25 credits

Language requirement: Proof of English proficiency at B2 level (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent certificate) is required.
