Overview
Offered on the Swiss and London campuses, the Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Administration features management courses, hands-on supervisory experience in operations, and a professional internship in a hospitality related business. The postgraduate curriculum allows mature students to develop the skills and knowledge they need to start a new career in hospitality management, or open their own hospitality business.
The Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management requires an extra semester of courses which are only available on the Bulle campus in Switzerland. This extended program offers students a choice of specializations to develop strategic management skills for the following areas:

Program: Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Administration
Duration: 2 taught semesters (12 courses) plus 1 internship in the industry (6 months)

Program: Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management
Duration: 3 taught semesters (18 courses) plus 1 internship in the industry

NOTE: All students (both Swiss and London campuses) will complete their craft-based learning courses on the Glion campus.
THE INTERNSHIP SEMESTER The professional internship is designed to let the student practice the techniques they learned on campus and explore their personal strengths in a real work environment.

General requirements
When considering candidates for admission, the Admissions Manager looks at the entire profile of the applicant, including academic records, work experience if any, extracurricular activities, test scores and recommendations.
Postgraduate and Professional Development Programs- Normally 24 years old and above.
- All applicants must be a EU, EEA, Swiss or British Overseasm Territory national.
- Applicants must have a university degree, or equivalent, or three years of work experience (not necessarily hospitality or sports based).
If you are not a native English speaker, or if you have not spent the last 3 years in an English-taught school, please enclose one of the following:
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 550 points for the paper based test or 80 on the internet based test. The TOEFL testing code number for Glion Institute of Higher Education is 7337.
- Cambridge First Certificate (FCE): Grade A.
- Cambridge Advanced Exam (CAE): Grade C. Please also send the statement of results with your detailed profile.
- I.E.L.T.S. Academic Module minimum Overall Band Score of 5.5 and min. 5.5 for each part (listening, reading, writing, speaking)
All English certificates must have been issued in the last 12 months prior to admission. Please note: Non-degree holders will receive a Diploma or a Higher Diploma Professional Development
