Overview

The Faculty of Technology and Business Management (FPTP), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) was established on June 20, 2001 and began to implement an academic program in 2002. The main goal of the Faculty is to offer academic programs in accordance with labor market needs in an efficient and effective; encourage the development and dissemination of knowledge through research and development (R&D), publications, seminars, conferences and the like; smart and establish contacts with industry and society at the national level and between nations. Academic programs offered are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and professional institutions such as the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia (BOVAEA) for Property Management program.

The Technology Management (by Research) degree at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia is a full-time research programmer. Each semester, research student are required to register for a research course. This is in addition to other compulsory/prerequisite courses as required by the university. Grade for each semester is given based on student's progress report

Applicant must have a Bachelor Degree with Honours from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) or any other higher learning institution recognized by the Senate with cumulative grade points average (CGPA) of 2.75
Applicant with a bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent not meeting the minimum CGPA (as listed above) can be accepted subjected to the *minimum working experience in the relevant field. *ONE (1) year working experience equivalence to 0.1 CPA
Applicant with a bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent not meeting the minimum CGPA without any relevant working experience must undergo and pass (with a minimum of grade B) appropriate *enhancement courses determined by the faculty and meet the minimum CGPA of 2.75. *ONE (1) enhancement courses equivalence to 0.1 CPA
