The Computer Science (Software Engineering) degree at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia is designed to produce graduates who:

Use and relate the knowledge of current research issues in computing and producing work that contributes to the development in the domain of education;
Develop computing solutions using the principles of software engineering;
Assessing and analyzing computing solutions related to usability, efficiency, and effectiveness;
Using existing research and work to obtain, interpret, and improve knowledge in computing;
Work and play well in the working group;
Prepare and present technical papers on a variety of audiences;
Shows a manner consistent with the code of professional ethics and accountability and;
Entrepreneurial practices in research; and
Demonstrate leadership in group activities conducted.

General requirements

Bachelor Degree with honours (minimum CPA 2.75 for mixed-mode) from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia or any other Institutions of Higher Learning recognised by the University Senate. For those who do not meet the minimum CPA, working experience in the related field will be considered
