Overview
The Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship programme from King Stage Business School aims to enable students to develop a practical and critical understanding of innovation and social entrepreneurship in the modern-day business environment. At the end of the Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship programme, students will have the knowledge and understanding of the key concepts and theories in the subject area to allow them to have an active role in their chosen industry.
Career
Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to work and develop their projects supported by mentors and existing start-ups from our network of partners.
Our network of partners, start-ups and established companies are selected based on the career field chosen by the student. They will be supporting students during their study with us for a real-life consultancy project and work experience. Students will be assigned a project in collaboration with the selected organisation.

Trip to Shanghai (China)
Shanghai has a very impressive mix of global corporate innovation, startups, and investment hubs that help entrepreneurs turn their vision into a reality. This programme will allow you to travel to Shanghai to discover the city’s dynamic ecosystem of start-ups. Social activities are part of the trip as well as research and workshops.
Impact Paid Internship
With the ‘impact internship’ students will have the opportunity to complete a paid placement within a company.
This will allow you to work full-time in an organisation of your choice. The internship will last 6 months for a minimum of 25 hours a week.
This is your chance to gain experience alongside your studies, earn credits for your achievements, and stand out on the job market. At the end of your placement, you will have to write a report.
Programme Structure
Course structure:
- Enterprise and Entrepreneurial skills - Identifying the traits of an entrepreneur is one of the main objectives of this module.
- Business and Financial management - In this module, learners will understand the rationale behind crowdfunding and identify possible funding sources.
- Design and Product Innovation - The module will be centred around the needs and requirements of the end-user.
- Start-up and Freelancer - The Start-up and Freelancer module will teach you how to develop a strong business plan for a start-up.
- Advanced Research Methods - There are many approaches to conducting research which vary in terms of the types of questions they seek to answer and the methods used to provide answers explored in this module.
Lecturers
The Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship will be taught by an academic team with a strong background in innovation and social entrepreneurship. It will underpin your knowledge with the relevant theory and link it to practice. You will have a clear understanding of the entrepreneurial skills required to create a start-up or use the skills gained to work/consult in any organisation.

At King Stage, we seek individuals with intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to contribute. To ensure your success with us, here are the following entry criteria we look at:
- You will be required to provide an internationally recognised qualification: a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- If you are a mature applicant, you will be considered for entry if you can demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, and have A Levels/IB or equivalent.
