Overview

The request for qualified expert instructors to increase the success of English Language Teaching at all levels, in accordance with the recent trends, has risen significantly. As the result of increase in international relationships in terms of economy and education subject to the technological innovations, the need for expert instructors in ELT has become more evident.

As the primary objective of the MA programme in ELT department, it is aimed to upskill the language teachers with researcher identity.

Furthermore, it is aimed to pave the way for authentic contributions to second language teaching in the process of a dramatic change and development. Thus, the MA programme will contribute to the qualified man potential for our country.

General requirements

The original High School diploma and its translation approved by Turkish Embassies or Consulates.
An equivalency letter” obtained from the ministry of education of Turkey or from Turkish Embassies, showing that the diploma is equivalent to a Turkish High School Diploma.
Applicants who apply and admitted with SAT results need to direct their result from College Board until the registration; otherwise, they will be asked to confirm the results of the exam at the SAT College Board official website with their usernames and password during registration
International students are required to hold the official residence permit in Turkey.
A copy of the Passport, ID Card, Blue Card
For students with Dual Citizenship, a copy of the Official Identity Registration Document.
Four 4.5x6 cm size passport photos
