Overview
The Master of Project Management from Charles Darwin University consists of a combination of carefully selected core units, a placement, and elective units. It stresses the importance of theoretical knowledge and the application of theory in practice through, for instance, learning to manage projects and undertaking practical exercises.
The core units of this course will teach the students project management concepts and skills needed to deal with the challenges of identifying, prioritizing, and implementing projects successfully. In the second year of study, the students will be required to complete the placement unit that prepares them for professional practice. Completion of the Professional Experience unit requires an equivalent number of hours (300 hours) of professional practice-related activity, which may include virtual or online activity.
