By linking an interdisciplinary academic education with practice-centred teaching formats students will learn to think critically about today’s challenges and develop practical solutions based in sound knowledge. The focus lies on public and private sector institutions and organizations involved in policymaking. Through our rigorous interdisciplinary approach and the focus on the policy practice of entities such as the EU’s institutions, graduates are ideally qualified for jobs within the public EU, governmental- or sub-national fields, as well as in corporations and civil society actors which must increasingly consider EU decision-making processes in their activity.

General requirements
Students apply for ONE of the two specializations. Beside a completed bachelor’s degree, applicants have to demonstrate fulfilling the following requirements for the two specializations:European Social and Economic Policy Analysis (language: English)
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or economics with at least 18 CP in quantitative methods
- English language C1 level (CEFR)
- German language skills are recommended
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 40 CP in two of the following subjects: Political science, sociology, history, linguistics, cultural science, media studies
- English language C1 level (CEFR)
- Verified German language skills: German university entrance qualification, German undergraduate degree, DSH-Stufe 2, TestDaf-Stufe 4, ZOP or equivalent
