Overview
This flexible programme of our Sport Rehabilitation from Loughborough University will enable you to develop fundamental knowledge, understanding and skills across all aspects of rehabilitation science in a sporting context, before giving you the opportunity to specialise in rehabilitating specific populations or strength and conditioning.
You will have the chance to gain practice-based experience, as well as undertake an independent research project to address a scientific question or practical issue in sport rehabilitation.
You will also benefit from the research expertise and facilities available on campus, including in the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine-East Midlands, and at the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) at Stanford Hall which is expected to open to patients in early 2025.
Career
The MSc in Sport Rehabilitation will help you to work safely and effectively as part of an inter-disciplinary team in a sports rehabilitation context.
It will be ideal for individuals either currently working, or wishing to work, across the sport rehabilitation/conditioning and performance spectrum.
This might include current or aspiring sports practitioners or coaches wishing to extend or develop their knowledge, understanding and skills to enhance individuals’ successful participation, performance in, and return to sport following injury.
