Programme Structure
Programme Highlights 90 ECTS over 18 months (Feb–June). Study one semester in Poland and one in Germany; complete your thesis at the university of your choice. Graduates receive two MSc diplomas (UWM & HSO) and gain advanced lab, engineering, and intercultural skills for bio-based industries and environmental protection.

The programme begins in February each academic year. Applications are submitted through the University of Warmia and Mazury’s online recruitment system.
Language
Credits
Students earn a total of 90 ECTS credits over three semesters. The first two semesters, held in Poland and Germany respectively, include coursework, laboratory classes, and project-based learning, amounting to 60 ECTS. The third semester is dedicated to the Master’s thesis receive 30 ECTS. Credits are awarded in accordance with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).

General requirements
- Admission takes place consecutively for graduates who have successfully completed a Bachelor’s/Engineer’s degree with 210 ECTS (or equivalent) or have completed a Master’s degree. Those degrees should be obtained in the field: Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical and Process Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Protection, or similar.
- The admission procedure requires the diploma with a transcript of records (with apostille or legalization).
