A premier MARA Technological University (UiTM) is a public university, with its main campus in Shah Alam, the state capital of Selangor, just 28 kilometres west of the country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Established in 1956. MARA Technological University (UiTM) is the largest comprehensive university in Malaysia providing innovative education with state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology within reach at its 34 campuses, 31 faculties and centres of excellence all over the country. UiTM has expanded to become a university of international repute.

What do we offer?

The largest higher education institution in Malaysia, UiTM offers extensive physical infrastructure, qualified academic and non-academic staff support and a massive student population.

With one main campus, 13 autonomous state campuses and 21 satellite campuses supported by 17,000 academic and non-academic staff, UiTM offers 500 quality programmes ranging from foundation to postgraduate levels.

General requirements

Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from UiTM in a related and appropriate area of specialization with minimum CGPA of 2.75; OR
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent from other recognized universities approved by UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75.
A candidate applying for admission into this programme is required to submit a research proposal to the faculty. The acceptance of a candidate shall be at the discretion of the UiTM Senate, whose decision shall be final
