Overview

The Knowledge Management degree at MARA Technological University requires students to complete a minimum of 40 credit hours i.e. 34 credit hours (10 courses) from the CORE courses, and 6 credit hours (2 courses) from the ELECTIVE courses.

The curriculum enables students to acquire a good blend of skills and knowledge in the areas of Information Services, Information Systems and Information Management.

Careers

Graduates would be able to serve in any organization as KM managers, Chief Knowledge Officers (CKOs), Knowledge Executives, Business Intelligence Officers, and Contents Managers.

General requirements

A Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in a related field of study from UiTM and other institution of higher learning, local or abroad, recognized by the UiTM Senate with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 OR

A Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in a related field of study from other institution of higher learning, local or abroad, recognized by the UiTM Senate with a minimum of CGPA of 2.50 AND at least 5 years of related working experience and MUST fulfilling 12 hours of prerequisite course by the faculty OR

Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in any relevant fields and recognized by the UiTM Senate will be considered for admission.

Candidates are also required to attend an interview. Candidates must have strong English language proficiency according to the requirement of the University.
