Overview

The Applied Energy Master is offered by Kitami Institute of Technology. In addition to essential subjects necessary for learning about electricity, including electric circuits, electromagnetism and electronic devices, this course includes basic lectures on machinery such as those involving heat and fluids. Non-Japanese nationals who meet one of the following qualifications by the end of March 2010 are eligible for application:

To have graduated from a university

To have been awarded a bachelors degree by the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation (NIAD-UE)

To have completed 16 years of schooling overseas

To have completed a postsecondary course of a specialized training college admitted by MEXT

To have been recognized by the Graduate School of Kitami Institute of Technology, through eligibility judgment, as having equal to higher academic ability than those who have graduated from a university or college, and to be at least 22 years of age
