At the heart of this Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods programme from The London Interdisciplinary School you’ll find three things: interdisciplinary methods, complex problems, and the opportunity to work on the things that matter to you.

Key Facts

Build a practical toolkit of interdisciplinary skills, including qualitative and quantitative methods. You'll study modules covering approaches to linguistic, numeric, visual, experimental, and algorithmic data. A core module on Integration will teach you how to combine these methods to produce new insights that are greater than the sum of their parts

Tackle complex problems by choosing one of three core modules to explore in depth: Cognition & Behaviour, Technology & Computation, or Systems & Processes.

Define and investigate a problem of personal or professional interest in your Capstone project. Guided by our world-class faculty and supported by partners from the LIS network, this is your chance to explore the problem that matters most to you and produce a piece of original work that reflects your unique interests and skills.

The minimum entry requirement for our MASc programme is a 2:1 or above in an undergraduate degree from the UK (or the international equivalent) in any subject. If you are unsure whether your degree is equivalent to a 2:1 undergraduate degree from the UK, please get in touch with us
