Overview
At the heart of this Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods programme from The London Interdisciplinary School you’ll find three things: interdisciplinary methods, complex problems, and the opportunity to work on the things that matter to you.
Key Facts
- Build a practical toolkit of interdisciplinary skills, including qualitative and quantitative methods. You'll study modules covering approaches to linguistic, numeric, visual, experimental, and algorithmic data. A core module on Integration will teach you how to combine these methods to produce new insights that are greater than the sum of their parts
- Tackle complex problems by choosing one of three core modules to explore in depth: Cognition & Behaviour, Technology & Computation, or Systems & Processes.
- Define and investigate a problem of personal or professional interest in your Capstone project. Guided by our world-class faculty and supported by partners from the LIS network, this is your chance to explore the problem that matters most to you and produce a piece of original work that reflects your unique interests and skills.
