Overview
Key Facts and Outcomes
- It builds on the wide range of knowledge in geosciences, biology, ecology, chemistry, physics and mathematics obtained in an undergraduate science degree.
- The program involves a quantitative understanding of the complex interactions between lithosphere, pedosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere as well as relevant methodological skills for successfully addressing environmental science issues.
- The University of Tübingen program follows on from the B.Sc. in Geoecology. However it is open to all above average graduates of a sufficiently broad scientific Bachelor's degree. When applicants have a Bachelor's degree other than Geoecology it is checked whether the necessary academic background is present and whether any missing qualifications can be made up during the standard period of study of the Master's program.
