Overview
The International Law LLM programme from Mykolas Romeris University will assist students who wish to work for international institutions, state departments, diplomatic missions, international law firms, international businesses and non-governmental organisations:
- Through practical teaching, including role playing and moot courts, students will get to learn how to use skills such as legal research, legal writing, legal reasoning and advocacy in different fields of international law;
- They will learn how to use soft skills such as problem solving, strategic thinking and leadership;
- These will be applied in experiential, case-study based scenarios, where students will get to see how these skills are used in real-life international law issues, developing a practical awareness of how international law works;
- Students will explore contemporary issues of global concern;
- These soft and other skills are globally desired.
The University provides strong student support and is a member of many local, regional and international networks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is an official partner of the programme and experts from across the world are invited to deliver talks. Students are also provided with the opportunity to travel abroad under the institutional Erasmus+ and Nordplus mobility network.
