We teach students green engineering in a spirit of closeness and sustainability – with an interdisciplinary, international and practice-oriented approach. Our applied research tackles the great challenges of our times.

- Continuing education & consulting, business consulting, adult education
- Planning, implementation & evaluation of agricultural projects or joint ventures. - Conception and planning of public and private sector projects in the agricultural sector at national and international level, operational and macroeconomic evaluation of projects, management of project implementation.
- Trade & Services: - National and international agricultural trade, trade in livestock and meat, marketing, activities at market and price reporting agencies, accounting companies, in tax consulting, at banks and insurance companies, product and sales consulting in the relevant industry (plant protection, animal feed, fertilizers, agricultural technology, food industry).
- Agricultural administration: - Organization and implementation of state support programs, conception and implementation of agricultural policy measures, cooperation with foreign institutions.
- Organization, cooperatives, settlement - management; administrative work in international organizations, professional associations, cooperatives, settlement companies, rural youth organizations; management of self-help institutions.

General requirements
- A particularly successful completion – at least an average grade of "good" (according to German grading standards) – of a previous university degree in agricultural science. The examination board of the degree program decides on exceptions following an informal application.
- International applicants must also demonstrate sufficient knowledge of English .
