Overview
This programme is for those who have a Bachelor’s degree in library and information science, information architecture, archival science, digital humanities, informatics, systems science or related fields.
In the programme, you develop your knowledge in the theories and methods of information science. By learning how to handle digital data, from image to text, and to evaluate data structures that transform data into information, theories translate into practice. During your final year, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in a larger context, from a focus on individual users to the significance of digitalisation for organisations and for a democratic society. - A Bachelor’s degree, 180 credits, with a major in one of the following subjects: Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Science, Computer Technology
- A scientific bachelor thesis of at least 15 credits and a course on Research Methods of at least 7.5 credits.
- In addition, proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English 6 is required.
