Overview
About the program
The focus of the first semester of theInternational Dispute Resolution LL.M. at Humboldt University Berlin is on international arbitration, with modules on commercial and investment arbitration. Students also take a course in private international law.
The second semester is centered on the theory and practice of ADR methods, such as adjudication, mediation and negotiation. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and to conduct research in a specific area of their interest by writing a master thesis.

- Certificates and Transcripts: At the time of application, transcripts and certificates of a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in MAIR relevant fields must be submitted,
- Proof of international experience during studies: Here you can show course achievements that you have performed abroad. 'Foreign countries' is defined as: a country other than in which the higher education entrance qualification was obtained,
- hold an undergraduate degree in law,
- have relevant, post-graduate work experience of at least 1 year,
- have a very good command of the English language (at least C1 level)
