Overview

The English Studies at Vistula University  combines in-depth knowledge of linguistics and literary studies with advanced professional competences. It prepares graduates to work independently, responsibly and innovatively in international and multicultural environments as translators, assistant translators, English language teachers or language trainers.

Throughout the programme, you will develop your English language proficiency to CEFR level C2. You will learn to use English accurately, effectively and confidently in academic, professional and public communication, while analysing complex linguistic, literary and cultural phenomena.

The programme also develops future-oriented competences, including critical thinking, intercultural communication, project management, teamwork, and the responsible use of digital technologies and AI-powered tools.

Graduates of the Master’s programme in Philology (English Philology specialisation) achieve CEFR level C2 in English and acquire in-depth knowledge of linguistics, literary studies, and their chosen professional specialisation.
