Overview
The English Studies at Vistula University combines in-depth knowledge of linguistics and literary studies with advanced professional competences. It prepares graduates to work independently, responsibly and innovatively in international and multicultural environments as translators, assistant translators, English language teachers or language trainers.
Throughout the programme, you will develop your English language proficiency to CEFR level C2. You will learn to use English accurately, effectively and confidently in academic, professional and public communication, while analysing complex linguistic, literary and cultural phenomena.
The programme also develops future-oriented competences, including critical thinking, intercultural communication, project management, teamwork, and the responsible use of digital technologies and AI-powered tools.

General requirements
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Polish.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
All required documents must be submitted with a sworn translation into Polish. If you are unable to provide a Polish translation initially, we will accept documents translated into English. However, you must submit the Polish translation upon your arrival.
You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
