The Arts and Cultural Management programme at IESA - School of Arts and Culture is designed to develop students’ understanding of the art and performing arts sectors and develop professional skills in art management and business. 

Professional studies are underpinned by courses on the history of twentieth-century art and theatre, providing students with a hands-on experience of the artistic and cultural backgrounds.

Core teaching weaves together a range of different approaches to the cultural industries: high-level business management, creative entrepreneurship, art and culture fundraising, event management, and design and creative marketing.

IELTS admission requirements IELTS The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).

General requirements

  • Candidates must have obtained a 4 year undergraduate degree (B.A., B.Sc. or equivalent).  Students with a 3 year BA degree can be admitted to the 16-month program.
  • Students in their final undergraduate year may apply for admission and will be required to provide proof of graduation prior to full registration.

Work experience

Work experience necessary for students who completed a B.A. in three years.
