The aim of the Arts and Cultural Management programme at IESA - School of Arts and Culture is to prepare students for their future career in arts and cultural management. IESA trains future managers of art institutions and future entrepreneurs of the industry.

The Arts and Cultural Management programme at IESA - School of Arts and Culture is designed to develop students’ understanding of the art and performing arts sectors and develop professional skills in art management and business. 

Professional studies are underpinned by courses on the history of twentieth century art and theatre, providing students with a hands-on experience of the artistic and cultural backgrounds.

Core teaching weaves together a range of different approaches to the cultural industries: high-level business management, creative entrepreneurship, art and culture fundraising, event management, and design and creative marketing.

General requirements

  • Students who have completed a BA in 3 years may apply to the Pre-Master program. Students in their final undergraduate year may apply for admission and will be required to provide proof of graduation prior to full registration.

  • English proficiency IELTS 6.0 on all bands required. Students with IELTS 5.5 may enroll in an intensive semester in English.

Work experience

Work experience necessary for students who completed a B.A. in three years.
