Programme Structure
- The degree programme component in Chemistry includes in-depth lectures and courses in the areas of Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. From a large number of lecture cycles, two lectures may be selected, according to students’ individual interests, that will allow them to acquire in-depth knowledge of research-related chemistry topics. In two modules, a combination of specialised didactics will be provided, including specialised topics and practical work in the areas of Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.

- Application for admission to a Master’s degree programme
- Certificate of the undergraduate degree programme
- Certificate of enrolment from the most-recently attended university.
- Proof of previous achievements in the Master's degree programme
- Students applying for a transfer or change of institution from a non-German university must also submit: a certificate of transferable grades from the relevant subject area
- Statement of sufficient financing for completion of the course of study. This does not apply for applications from EU/EEA member states and applicants with a German university entrance qualification.
- Uncertified copy of the applicant’s passport (page with name in Latin script). Applicants from EU/EEA member states may alternatively submit a copy of their personal identity card.
- For applicants with certificates from Vietnam, the People's Republic of China and India: Original of the APS certificate from the relevant Academic Examination Body.
