Overview
Acceptance to the Journalism programme from Tshwane University of Technology is subject to available capacity according to the Student Enrolment Plan (SEP) as well as supervisory capacity. Applicants will be informed of their status per official letter from the Office of the Registrar.
Selection criteria
Admission will be subject to approval of a research topic by the Departmental Research Committee (DRC). Candidates are required to submit a research proposal and other supporting documentation to the Department.

- A Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, or an Honours Degree in Media Studies or Journalism, or an honours, or a postgraduate diploma in a related field of study, as well as proven media experience.
