In this programme, advanced level knowledge and skills about the business administration are provided to students from various backgrounds. The programme renders opportunities for speacializing in one of the business functions such as marketing, management, accounting, finance, production and information systems besides general business administration.Thus, it is expected that those students who finish the programme successfully can work as managers in middle and high level positions in institutional firms both in Turkey and also abroad. Moreover, the programme provides an opportunity to major in entrepreneurship for those individuals who would like to establish their own businesses.

• The objective of this Business Administration programme at Dokuz Eylul University is to educate professionals and entrepreneurs who have an ability to evaluate the effects of national and international developments related with business and its environment on the firm performance; have an ability to develop strategy, and manage the change using modern management techniques; have an ability to play a critical role in team working and to contribute to the strategic decision making process considering the interactions between business functions; are equipped with in-depth knowledge in the fundamental areas of business management; have an ability to perform synthesis using quantitative-qualitative techniques and information technologies; have an advanced ability in reporting and presentation skills; possess holistic perspective and professional ethical values.
