Programme Overview

The Business Administration from Covenant University, originally known as the Department of Business Studies, started as a full-fledged Department in the 2002/2003 Academic Session with 434 students for the 6 Programmes of the Department, namely, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. However, in the 2004/2005 Academic Session, Accounting and Banking and Finance became separate, full-fledged Departments. In the 2004/2005 Academic Session, the Department of Business Studies had 502 students and 17 full-time Academic Staff as well as Associate Lecturers.

The B.Sc. (Hons.) Business Administration Degree Programme seeks to open to students the complex world of creating goods and services for the satisfaction of human needs in the national and global environments mediated by the social business institution.

General requirements

Candidates seeking admission to the Master’s degree Programme of Covenant University must
possess a Bachelor’s degree from Covenant University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Covenant University.
Preferably, candidates with First Class, Second Class (Upper Division), and Second Class (Lower Division with a minimum CGPA of 3.00) in the relevant disciplines may apply. The minimum duration of study for the award of the Master’s degree is two academic sessions for full-time. Candidates with a degree(s) in other business-related disciplines such as Accounting, Finance, and Actuarial Science will be considered
In addition, the Covenant University conducts screening exercise for all candidates seeking admission into the University.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.
