About Teaching Philosophy at De La Salle University

It is a master’s degree program under the professional track. It is primarily designed to equip students with a substantial knowledge of the basic areas of philosophy for effective teaching of philosophy courses in the senior high school and tertiary levels. It is awarded to students of the Straight Program–Master in Teaching Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy after they have finished 30 units of coursework and passed comprehensive examinations in three (3) areas of study.
